YEAR-END REVIEW: “Looking Forward…”

Before we say good-bye and good riddance to 2021, I wanted to look back at a few highlights—those things that mattered most to me and why.

Today, I’m looking forward!

Provided there are no hiccups in 2022, I’m set to release EIGHT books!

The Aria of Oak Moon Bay will be released next month. Off the Hook!, The Red Veil, and Dark Bonds are all releasing this spring.

All Things Dark & Deadly series has tentative release dates since I only have the first cover scheduled. Hopefully, I’ll be able to finish booking the remaining three in January. Look for the series starting in July.

As far as drafting goes…

I’m looking to finish Lorelei’s and the BlackGuard Society for release in 2023. I’ll also finish drafting Daimones of Death—I’m anticipating a series title change along with a title change for each of the six books. I’ll also finish drafting books for my third pen name, Mia Storrey.

For those of you who enjoy reading books ahead of release dates, I’m planning to launch titles with ARCs. I’m still working out the details and will let you know when they’re ready.

Finally, changes will be coming to my branding! Moving to California means the dissolution of my publishing house as an LLC. In March, I’ll go from Avanturine Press LLC to Avanturine Press Books (a d/b/a). The change will include an upgrade to the website, too.

Finally, I have three signing events planned for 2022—UtopiaCon in June, Apollyon in July, and Once Upon a Book also in July. For someone who hates flying, I’m not quite sure how I’ll pull these off. Plus, they’ll be the two most expensive months of the year.

Well, there you have it. A quick look back on 2021 along with my plans for the upcoming year.

I’m wishing you the best for 2022. Thank you for your continued support!
