NaNoWriMo: Help Me Make A Choice!

I need your help…

I’m torn between two story ideas for National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo).

The first thought is for the first book in a series of novels about a lazy, playboy of a cupid. Instead of wielding a bow with love arrows, he develops an app to get the job done. When the software goes wonky and weird matches are made, he has to find a way to make things right all while straightening out his own love life.

The second possibility is for a series of midlife paranormal women’s cozy mysteries about a coven of witches. Something nefarious comes to the small town of Misty Lake in the Pacific Northwest. People are dying and bodies keep turning up on the doorsteps of the Zodiac Coven. What or who is behind the murders?

Believe it or not, I do have one more idea, but it’s not developed. I only have the prompt: It’s said that no one should speak ill of the dead. But no one said the dead couldn’t speak ill of the living. I could use the lines in the cozy mysteries.

What do you think? Which story idea would you like to read FIRST? I’m considering making the finished product a freebie for newsletter subscribers.
