RSP BLOG TOUR: Welcome to My World!

Welcome to my stop on the tour!

I invite you to take a moment to look around my site and get acquainted. I enjoy meeting people and sharing stories.

I haven’t been a writer all my life. It’s a journey I started in 2014. I was between jobs, and my husband suggested I do this full-time. I had a twig of an idea and a dream. The dream stayed with me and so I wrote it down. It turned into a National Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) project. In 2016, I published Regress: the Alliance Chronicles, Book One.

I totally pantsed that first book. I didn’t think I could carefully plot and plan. Five months later, Rescue: the Alliance Chronicles, Book Two was published just in time for my first signing event.

With time I began learning a way to outline that suits me best. I can proudly say that I have now published the second book in the series along with a novellaRebel is currently in rewrite phase and is scheduled for a June pub date. Both Restore and Renegade (the final book) are drafted and waiting for revisions/rewrites.

Although the Alliance Chronicles is a post-apocalyptic story, my first love is paranormal. I have always enjoyed stories about creepy things. All of the books I have planned are paranormal/supernatural stories.

Cursed Hearts (month long Facebook event) and Blessed Hearts will morph into another series for 2018: the BlackGuard Society. This novella series features a secret society whose goal is to protect humans from the rogue supernaturals wanting to do harm in the city of New Orleans.

Here’s a teaser from the original short story, “The Sweetest Bite”. This story will become Book Two!

Here are five facts about me:

  1. I’m a mom.
  2. I’m married.
  3. I graduated from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
  4. I studied Jeet Kune Do.
  5. I’ve worked in at least five different industries.

Next stop on the tour: Betty Mermelstein.  If you get lost, go back to Zach Chopchinski.
