My Review:

I received an ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review.

Christina Farley’s conclusion to her Gilded series was a great page turner which was difficult for me at first. My favorite character, Jae Hwa Lee, experienced so much heartbreak in the beginning of this story. It just wrecked me.

There’s a new demon for Jae Hwa to deal with, and the darkness is so intense….

Farley did an excellent job with the details in this final book. The imagery was vivid and the emotions were palpable.

I loved the symbolism in Brazen. The yin and yang were used to represent North and South Korea. It also represented light and darkness. Without the two together there is no balance. Lovely!

The characters in this series are remarkable. The latest villain, Kud, is truly evil. But, he is a tricky evil character. Trust me. You can easily fall for him. I loved Princess Bari, the Grim Reaper. She wasn’t as grim as she seemed. Marc, any girl’s book boyfriend, worried me at first. He was on the wrong side of Jae Hwa’s battle, but he did redeem himself.

I just loved this series. It should be recommended reading for all!
